Here's a fabulous opportunity to hear about the Building Stones of Sussex, especially those in the environs of East Grinstead by Roger Cordiner and Anthony Brook (authors of the highly-rated Building Stone Atlas of Sussex). If you arrive by 6pm, John Pye, owner of the bookshop will take you on a walk of East Grinstead's High Street, which boasts one of the the longest runs of 14th century buildings in England. Be there by 6pm for the walk, returning at 6.45pm for a glass of wine and the illustrated talk at Sackville College from Roger and Anthony.
